Design Recognition
Architects of the Stretton Centre, Hassel, received the Australian Institute of Architects’ 2016 South Australian Architecture Awards Jack McConnell Award for Public Architecture. The project received commendation for significant social and cultural benefits to the local community with the integration of public spaces integral to its design.
In 2018 the Stretton Centre was featured on Network 10’s Australia by Design where Hassel was once again commended for its community minded design. The building was voted number seven by the Australia by Design judges as South Australia’s and the Northern Territory’s Ultimate Architectural Statement.
