Eligibility criteria
  • Entrants must be a start-up business no more mature than five years (unless you are looking to diversify your products or services)
  • Entrants must be over the age of 18 years, and not having entered into a current/former co-working contract, to participate in the Stretton Centre’s Start-Up Business Package promotion.
  • Entrants must reside in the council areas of City of Playford, City of Salisbury, City of Tea Tree Gully, City of Port Adelaide Enfield, Town of Gawler, Adelaide Plains, Barossa, and Light Regional Council.
  • Entrants must have a business that can be viably based in the Stretton Centre’s co-working space.
  • Comply with all terms and conditions set out as part of the Business Support Package
Terms and Conditions
  1. Information on how to enter the City of Playford ‘Business Support Start-Up Package’ forms part of these conditions of entry.
  2. The promotion period commences 9am on Monday 13 September 2021 and closes 5pm on Monday 11 October 2021.
  3. The promotion is open to all people over the age of 18, who complete the Business Support Start-Up Package application form and meet the application criteria within the promotion period.
  4. Only one entry per person or business is permitted.
  5. Current and former Stretton Centre co-workers are not eligible for this promotion.
  6. City of Playford Councillors and employees associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter.

  8. Entries not completed in accordance with these conditions will not be eligible to win. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
  9. The winners of the City of Playford ‘Business Support Start-Up Package’ will be announced at the Stretton Centre, 307 Peachey Road Munno Para during the week beginning Monday 1 November 2021.
  10. Winners must hold public liability insurance valued at $20 million to utilise the co-working space.
  11. The Stretton Centre will form the panel that will assess each application based on a scoring system in relation to the following:
    - Strategic Approach – clear on business direction
    - Marketing – having a clear understanding on how you will reach consumers
    - Relationships/Networking – knowing who to know
    - Finance – forward planning and budgeting
    - Resources – knowing how will you deliver your product and/or services
  12. Submissions will be considered as part of a formal assessment process to ensure the greatest strategic alignment, organisational capability, and best fit with the aims of this program. Please note that the Stretton Centre on behalf of the City of Playford may accept or reject any, part, or all EOI submissions, at its absolute discretion.
  13. Two winners will be selected. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be contacted and a date and time arranged for the winners to commence their 12-month co-working business space at the Stretton Centre.
  14. All winners are required to complete a co-working application form.
  15. The winners will be required to take a photo in the co-working space, which will be used in the City of Playford’s marketing materials and socials.
  16. The successful applicants will both receive:
    - 12 month full-time coworking membership which provides you with the following: (include all normal co-working benefits here) valued at $3,366
    - Business SA membership to the value of $795 which provides you with the following: (include benefits of BSA here)
    - Exclusive access to either ENCORE or SAYES business entrepreneur programs valued at $1,600+GST
  17. City of Playford will not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained during the course of the promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  18. City of Playford is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion.
  19. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures of any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, City of Playford reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion if there is any interruption outside of City of Playford’s control and to disqualify any individual who interferes with the entry process.
  20. By entering the promotion, each Entrant consents to the information they submit being entered into a database and City of Playford may use this information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the Entrant. The Entrant agrees that City of Playford and its related bodies may send the Entrant commercial electronic messages concerning any information, promotions, products or services of City of Playford, and its related bodies. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory Lottery Departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant Lottery legislation. All personal details of the Entrants provided by entering the promotion will be stored at the office of City of Playford. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
