DV-alert (Domestic Violence Response Training) is Lifeline's accredited training program that enables health, allied health and frontline workers to confidently:
The DV Alert courses in SA are run in partnership with the Australian Migrant Resource Centre SA.
DV-alert is funded by the Department of Social Services and is supported to contribute to one of the outcomes of the National Plan to Reduce Violence Against Women and their Children 2010-2022--services meet the needs of women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.
As an accredited training program, DV-alert is mapped out against the unit of competency CHCDFV301A: Recognise and Respond Appropriately to Domestic and Family Violence.
Participants who complete the training and assessment will receive a statement of attainment.
There is no charge to attend the training, with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea being provided.
