Are you a business or community group looking for funding?

Join us for a practical, hands-on workshop designed to demystify grant writing and help you take real steps towards securing funding. Whether you’ve never written a grant before or want to strengthen your approach, this session will break the process down into clear, manageable steps to give you the best possible chance for a positive outcome.

This isn’t just theory—you’ll start drafting your own content during the workshop, so you leave with tangible progress, not just notes.

We’ll cover where to find relevant grants, how to interpret funding criteria, and how to respond to application questions in a way that is clear, compelling, and aligned with what assessors are looking for. The session includes guided activities, group discussion, and time for questions, plus a take-home workbook you can use for future applications.

A light lunch will be provided. Please note that we are unable to guarantee all dietary requirements can be catered for (e.g. gluten-free or vegan).

What you’ll learn

· How to identify grants that are the right fit for your organisation
· How to interpret selection criteria and respond effectively
· Techniques for writing clearly, persuasively, and with evidence
· Why a strong, realistic budget is just as important as your written responses
· How to plan ahead and give yourself the best chance of success

This isn’t death-by-PowerPoint—it’s a practical session focused on giving you the tools, confidence, and clarity to take the next step in funding your business or community initiatives.

Cost: $30 per person
