Workplaces should be safe places for everyone - free of sexual harassment. Change is needed in all industries, and in every workplace. With the right knowledge and tools, businesses can play a leading role in preventing workplace sexual harassment, discrimination and bullying.
The Stretton Centre is partnering with the Working Women’s Centre SA to deliver a workshop on preventing and tackling sexual harassment. Respect the Line is a workshop designed to help local businesses understand their legal and ethical obligations, and build skills to create safe and inclusive workplaces.
What the workshop will cover:
- Defining workplace sexual harassment and its impacts, with clear examples
- Understanding legal obligations, including the Positive Duty to prevent harassment
- Understanding the structural and cultural causes of sexual harassment
- Practical strategies for bystanders
- What to do if you experience harassment or receive a disclosure
