Have you ever had a cool nature-based tourism idea?

The Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary is looking for an egg-cellent, creative idea to attract tourism to their park!

The sanctuary is a globally significant site, and is part of the East-Asian-Australasian Flyway network. Seeing as the site is officially recognised now, the team are hoping to unlock its tourism potential.

To achieve this, they're asking members of the public to submit funky, innovative, authentic concepts with the Future Tourism Challenge.

The lucky winner will secure up to $25,000 in funding to deliver the project. If that wasn't enough, there's also twelve months of mentoring and the opportunity to attend a workshop with industry experts.

To be eligible, all you need is an ABN (or the ability to get one). Also, your business must be based in Australia.

Entrants will be assessed on how well their proposal meets the Sanctuary's vision and focus, as well as SA' s Nature-Based Tourism Strategy- 'Nature Like Nowhere Else'. Find out some more info about the competition and criteria here.

But be quick! The competition closes on 15 January 2018.

If you decide to give it a go, apply here. We wish you the best of duck! Oops- we mean the best of luck.
