The Northern Adelaide Jobs and Careers Expo returns this October, presenting Daniel Williams, National Partnerships Manager for Eighty9 Group, an amazing chance to showcase his two company divisions, Status and Pivot Training by becoming Platinum Sponsor of the event.
Status delivers initiatives that provide inclusive pre-employment services to help individuals enter employment, apprenticeships or further education. Their programs address barriers to employment that many face such as mental health, injuries and health conditions or lack of qualifications by providing career guidance, resume assistance and more, so they can find, maintain and grow their career.
Pivot Training delivers high-quality accessible vocational education training programs to individuals to upskill and reskill as a pathway to meaningful employment. Additionally, Pivot Training is a provider of the Australian Government funded Skills for Education and Employment program (SEE) which support Participants to improve their foundational language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills, enhancing Participants readiness for further education and employment.
Both Status and Pivot Training have a strong presence within the Northern suburbs and the City of Playford, with the expo providing an ideal platform to build awareness and most importantly connect with local Participants needing their services and advice.
“We saw the expo as a great vehicle for brand awareness for both Status and Pivot Training,” said Daniel, “to get the word out about our programs and how we can tailor them to the needs of the individual.”
A Playford local, Daniel has worked for the Eighty9 group for nine years and sees firsthand the growth of the area and the need to build a workforce for the future.
“We’ve had a good working relationship with the Council, collaborating on various initiatives and we want to contribute to the areas that are supporting us,” said Daniel, “it helps us get all the information about services out to the public who need it.”
The teams from Status and Pivot Training will be exhibiting at the Northern Adelaide Jobs and Careers Expo on 30 October at the Playford Civic Centre and are ready to help attendees on their career path to success. With 100 exhibitors, in-depth panel discussions and workshops, the event shapes as an event not to be missed for Participants or anyone looking for inspiration for their next career move.
